We will use our industry experience and connections to develop BioMed/ BioTech/ Bio Sports Research labs and incubation facilities in both urban and suburban settings where the environment we create will facilitate critical creative thinking to benefit the communities we serve.
As a firm of minority and women developers we are aware of the ongoing issues our communities face most. Our knowledge of the issues is what drives our need to provide the right spaces for innovation in life sciences to address challenges within our communities and our extended neighbors.

BRUCE THOMAS

Mr. Thomas was the Managing Partner of Thomas Advisory Group LLC. TAG is a full-service real estate development, brokerage and advisory firm specializing in commercial, office, industrial, hotel and resort development projects. Mr. Thomas was also The Lead Acquisition and Development Consultant in California for Urban America (UA), a real estate investment equity fund that has purchased over 1 billion dollars in assets. UA’s main focus is acquiring and developing real estate in urban and underserved markets.
As a seasoned industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in acquisition, development and management activities related to a variety of development projects, he has helped the Urban America Fund raise $400 million dollars from institutional pension funds like Calpers. Mr. Thomas’ experience on the fund-raising side with investors (pension funds, insurance companies and banks) for Fund II, will bode well for the any BioMed campus. His ability to bring institutional capital is a value added to the BioMed Development team, along with his over 30 years of development and construction management.
Mr. Thomas entered the BioMed space because of his knowledge of the need for new multi facility campus’ throughout California, as well as his desire to invest in projects that will affect change in the community. This was over twelve years ago when he began his partnership with Dr. Phil Hart on the USC/LA County Biomed campus development Request for proposals.
Mr. Thomas believes the sound fiscal investments can be made in the inner city & underserved communities and even suburban markets can be combined with education, medicine, technology and job creation. The proposed BioMed campus in Los Angles is an excellent opportunity for banks, pension funds, and insurance companies to begin to reinvest into a needy community through a BioMed Fund and/or directly into the project as a direct investment.
Currently The BioMed Development Group is looking at working with the City of Phoenix in the continued development of a downtown BioMed campus for Thomas’ alma mater ASU (Arizona State University). He was the first African American varsity athlete to letter in a major sport and get a degree in construction engineering. He sits on the Board of Directors for the City of Riverside Chamber of Commerce EasthillsDivision, he also is on the Advisory Board for the Sam Williams Foundation, a youth outreach program.

LYNN KING-TOLLIVER

Lynn King-Tolliver is an outcome driven real estate executive with demonstrated success in all areas of institutional investment management including portfolio management and strategy, acquisitions dispositions, joint ventures, business development in both domestic and international markets, and investor relations. With over 25 years of experience she has acquired over 25 million sf of real estate and $5.0 billion in direct acquisitions and joint ventures transactions. She is the founding principal of Archere Investment Management (AIM), a private equity real estate investment platform that specializes in GP advisory and the acquisition, repositioning and management of commercial properties in westerns U.S. markets.
Prior to founding AIM, she was a Senior Vice President with Heitman of Chicago where she headed West Coast acquisitions and joint ventures where she completed approximately $950 million in transactions including a 6 million sf industrial portfolio acquisition and joint venture with domestic and international capital partners. Prior to joining Heitman, she was a Strategic Advisor with UrbanAmericaAdvisors (UA), a private equity real estate investment firm headquartered in New York where she focused on investor relations and capital raising.
As Director with the Equity Portfolio team of MetLife Real Estate Investments responsible for domestic and international business development, she developed the joint venture program for MetLife REI, managed acquisition activities including new joint ventures for 8 domestic offices nationwide and was on the investment committee for the $10 billion equity portfolio. Her role as head of international markets included responsibility for MetLife’s 4 international offices including: Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom and China resulting 6 programmatic joint ventures that invested approximately $490M in equity ($2.5B in deal volume).
Lynn received her Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Finance from California State University at Fullerton and completed executive education at Smith College. She holds a California Real Estate Broker license (CA DRE #0137728), is affiliated with ULI, ICSC, NAIOP and CREW and serves on the Advisory of Board of African American Real Estate Professionals, Los Angeles and several private companies.

CAMILLE THOMAS-MCGEE

Camille is the Chief Operations and Development Officer for Bio Med Development and thus will oversee the entire development process and manage the overall operations day to day.

She has been an asset in developing several residential and mixed-use projectsover her career. She primarily acts as a problem solver, programming manager, and vision implementor of various developments. She is responsible for multiple aspects of the project, from the land acquisition through the sale of the finished product, working with the team on due diligence during the early stages, through entitlement including jurisdictional permits, product design and site development, continuing right through construction and the sales efforts, release of bonds and project close out.

Most recently she has been hired as a VP of Operations for a General Contracting firm. Handling all operations & overseeing all departments, including business development & marketing, accounting, project administration, human resources, and management of all offices an operations staff. Camille comes from a background in real estate starting with property management in 2010, receiving both her Bachelors of Arts in Business Marketing and Bachelors of Arts in Entrepreneurial Management from California State University San Bernardino. Camille completed her education in 2013 with a Masters in Real Estate Development from Arizona State University; she brings 10 years of project management experience with her.
